Team Development
We often think of trees as solitary structures. But scientific evidence shows that trees of the same species are communal, and will often form alliances with trees of other species. Trees share water and nutrients through their root networks and use them to communicate.
Like trees, our development is a shared project: We cannot succeed alone. We cannot thrive as organizations, without a strong organizational ecosystem made up of high-performing teams.
Teams are ubiquitous in the workplace, and effective teamwork is the foundation of every organization’s success. Research on what makes a team successful exists in abundance. But only one in five teams is high performing, according to studies. Silke helps teams to find and stretch their root system in order to thrive and achieve their team goals.

Team Development Engagements
A team development engagement usually includes the following four phases:
Phase 1 - Introduction: Clarify the scope and format of the engagement, the team’s challenges and opportunities, and any special considerations. Agree on assessment tools to be used and people to be involved in the team development process.
Phase 2 - Assessment and Goal Setting: Conduct assessments, hold team and/or individual goal setting session(s), finalize team development goals and development plan.
Phase 3 - Growth and Development: Conduct team development sessions and one-on-one coaching sessions as needed. Team members apply strategies and tools in pursuit of the team development goals, and reflect on and share their learning.
Phase 4 - Transition: Review key learning and behavioral and mindset shifts. Discuss strategies to sustain and deepen the learning and continue to enhance team performance.
